Happy 2010, everyone! I hope everyone had a great end to 2009, and have an awesome new year to look forward to. =^_^= As for me, I got to ring in the new year sick as a dog, but with my older sister whose been away in the Navy for the past 6 years, and her family who will now be living here in Florida, locally! I couldn't be happier nor more excited about this, and regardless of having lost my voice and battling a massive sinus infection, nothing is going to dampen my mood about having my sister, brother-in-law, and nieces home. 83

-Considering the hell I had to go through just to get a stinking "B" this semester...I'm not going to complain. My GPA went down by .01 points, but didn't drop below the "3.3" mark needed to remain in the running for several scholarships. Next semester consists of nearly all literature courses plus on Anthropology course, so Spring '10 should be quite interesting. In all...83 I'd say I didn't do half bad this time around, though I still think I could have done better.

Crunch time, ladies and gents! The 2009 Fall semester ends for this little UCFer (hehe) on December 10th (if all goes well) and now we're down to the wire! With four finals, three in class presentations, two literary modules, and one Service Learning Reflection left, its going to drive me insane, but I'm trying to keep a moderately survivable balance. XD Such is the story of my life.

Now for the fun stuff! My schedule for next semester is set, the final hole filled, and if all goes well (meaning no classes are closed or dropped last minute...its happened before) Spring 2009-10 should go as follows:

*- Advanced Analysis of World Literature
*- Advanced Analysis of American Literature II
*- Teaching Literature Grades 6-12 (4000 Level)
*- Anthropology: Ancient Religions, Sacred Rituals, and Magic

...Yeah. XD The last class was a hole filler since all the other classes I NEEDED to take were full. I was all sad, depressed, and bemoaning my fate until I decided to browse the Anthropology and Archeology sections and was surprised to find that all my dabbling in college qualified me for all the pre-requisites necessary for a ton of Anthro, Archo, and Theology courses. I was like " 8D Well, hot damn!" and signed up for one of the random, interesting sounding courses.

=>.>= Funny, its a 4000 level Bachelors of Anthropology/Humanities course...and I'm taking it for the hell of it. XD HAHAHA! Should prove to be a hoot. Overall, I look forward to next semester, and, if all goes well, I'll only be up at the campus twice a week from early in the morning until one or so in the afternoon. 83 I am soooooo happy about that. This means I'll have more free time AND I might actually get to sleep! OH SLEEP! GLORIOUS SLEEP! How I have missed thee! =T__T=

Alright, off to finish my Norse Mythology project, its due the 8th, and for some reason I've been voted team leader without knowing I was nominated. XP Seriously...one long ass discussion post on the basic elements of Ragnarok, and suddenly I'm the go-to-gal. WTF?! *sigh*

After just finishing an 8 page Law & Ethics paper in less than 2.5hours, along with a 5 source Work Cited with quotes, X3 I'm feeling pretty damn good. I still have a 4 page paper to write for Linguistics on my Service Learning (volunteering at the schools this semester) and a 6 page Literary Criticism paper to write, but I tackled the monster first, and CONQUERED! >D I still got it baby, YEAAA~AAAH!!!

I was just informed that my Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles for the Wii is in the mail and on the wait WITH M'ZOMBEH T-SHIRT! 8D How cool is that?! I can't wait to get my hands on it! >3 Mmm, zombie slaying...

So, no further paranormal events in my room, which makes me happy, and probably that I've gotten more sleep as of late. XD LOL! Yay for mental exhaustion bringing on the ghosties! WOOT!

Finals are just around the bend, but I'm feeling more confident about them than I was my mid-terms. Why? No freakin' idea. XD But I am, so I'm runnin' with it.
